Our Classes

Tots Ballet (age 2-3 - Parent participation)

For our youngest dancers starting at 2 years old, we offer fun yet structured classes using stories, props, mime and a sprinkle of magic, introducing them to the wonderful world of ballet. Parents are required to stay for this class.

Nursery Ballet (age 3-4 )

Using imagery, stories, props and mime to further excite our youngest dancers immersing them in the magical world of ballet. Parents are asked to stay outside for this class as the children get to gain independence (very grown up!)

Pre-primary - Primary Ballet inc tap (Reception+)

At pre-primary the children continue to learn basic ballet technique whilst still capturing their imagination using rhymes and music to help develop their love of dance. They start to learn stories from the classic ballets using mime to inspire there imagination.

These classes combine ballet and tap together.

From this level children follow both the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (also known as the ISTD) Sylabus, where they can be invited to take part in examinations.

Ballet Grades 1-6

As the children progress through the grades they continue to improve there technique, stength and flexability, learn ballet vocabulary and enhance performance. Once they reach grade 6 they are able to collect UCAS points, perfect for those planning on going to university.

ISTD Vocational Ballet

Intermediate Foundation / Intermediate

This is a high level class and students wishing to study for a vocational exam need to attend a minimum of 2 classes a week. It's a wonderful achievement to work towards and open many doors including UCAS points to go towards university as well as dance colleges, dance teacher training and more.

Tap Dance

Tap is a brilliant way of developing rhythm and musicality. The children find it great fun learning new steps and making cool sounds with their feet. The classes are structured around the ISTD tap syllabus which provides the children the opportunity to take exams.
